Scope

This policy applies to the public SpotCalc.com marketing website and to the current browser-based SpotCalc Pro calculator and invoice/export tool available at app.spotcalc.com. SpotCalc.com is the public website for SpotCalc Pro, which is operated by Surette Systems, LLC.

SpotCalc Pro is not currently designed as a Florida Chapter 538 compliance, law-enforcement reporting, registration, hold-period, or government filing system.

Information We Collect

SpotCalc.com does not ask visitors to create accounts, does not process payments, and does not intentionally store customer transaction data on the public marketing website.

SpotCalc Pro may let the business user enter customer name, phone, email, address, city, state, ZIP, invoice notes, item descriptions, metal type, grade or purity, weights, melt values, offer prices, invoice number, invoice date, invoice status, business contact details, and saved calculator or invoice settings.

SpotCalc Pro does not currently collect photo ID, ID number, date of birth, seller signature, thumbprint, employee names, law-enforcement fields, government registration information, hold-period tracking, login/account data, payment details, subscriptions, ACH, card, or in-app money movement in the current app code.

If you email us at info@surettesystems.com, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, and any attachments.

Local Storage and Calculator Settings

SpotCalc Pro stores invoices and settings in the user's browser local storage, including keys used by the app such as metalcalc and metalcalc_inv. The app shell and API cache may also use the browser Cache API through the service worker.

Local browser storage is controlled by the user's browser and device. It is not encrypted by SpotCalc Pro itself. Users can delete individual invoices, clear all invoices inside the app, or clear browser storage through browser settings. Clearing it may reset saved calculator preferences, invoices, and cached price data.

Analytics and Tracking

SpotCalc.com does not currently load advertising pixels, heatmaps, or behavioral tracking scripts on the public marketing site.

Our hosting providers may keep ordinary technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, referring page, requested URL, and timestamps, for security, reliability, diagnostics, and abuse prevention.

Third-Party Services

SpotCalc.com and SpotCalc Pro display market information using third-party market data sources. The visible public spot-price ticker identifies gold-api.com, and SpotCalc Pro may call api.gold-api.com for metal price requests. The calculator code may also reference currency exchange data providers including open.er-api.com and api.frankfurter.app.

Market pages may load TradingView widgets or scripts. Invoice image or email export features may load html2canvas from cdnjs.cloudflare.com. Google Lens links may open lens.google.com or a native Lens intent. Those third parties may receive technical information from your browser when their features are loaded or opened.

If a user chooses to export, email, print, share, or save an invoice, customer or invoice data may be transmitted through the user's selected mail client, browser, operating system share sheet, printer, PDF/image tool, or other provider. Those providers are controlled by the user and are not operated by SpotCalc.com.

The SpotCalc Pro suggestion form may collect optional name, email, message, and optional screenshot or photo. If submitted, that information may be transmitted to the site's hosting or form provider for delivery and review.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate SpotCalc.com, respond to direct emails, improve public content, maintain security, diagnose technical issues, and comply with legal obligations.
